We all know a child who is exceptionally good at something, but every now and again a child sensation is discovered, wowing the public with their immense talent despite their young age.
Dmitry Ishkhanov is one of those children. He was just 11 years old when he represented Malta in the 2016 Eurovision Young Musicians Competition, and is still only 14. Ready to share his talent, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra has organised two concerts with him on Thursday and Friday.
Russian-born Dmitry promises to enchant the Nicosia and Larnaca public as he will take on Mozart’s piano concerto no. 12, written when the composer was 32. A remarkable act for a teenager, rightfully honouring the concerts’ title of Child-prodigy.
